A Wondrous Place to Learn

Since 1943, North Shore Day School has been providing a nurturing, warm and caring educational environment for children ages two to five. We have created a happy, friendly, engaging community that gives children a positive solid foundation for a stellar academic future.

Our 14-acre Gold Coast estate is home to North Shore Day School. Classes are held in a magnificently renovated mansion and campus with abundant space for a variety of activities. Overlooking the Long Island Sound, our setting is optimal for children to safely explore their environment and develop their social skills.

The sprawling school grounds offer a variety of activities for each season. In the warm weather our children play in the outdoor playgrounds. For cold or rainy days, there is an indoor play gym and a bike porch. Come spring, our grounds become a natural wonderland of plants, flowers and birds.
