Students in our LOV Program gain an additional six weeks (28 more days—due to 2 holidays) of academic, social, physical and creative growth bringing the school year to 42 weeks. While School will still be closed for the traditional Christmas/New Years Holiday week and the Easter/Passover Holiday Week, students will be able to participate in a wide array of innovative programs during the other six weeks of vacation included in the TRADITIONAL school year. With the exception of the 8–week summer break, and standard holidays, students will attend every day.

Our program schedule and elective options (that parents select) are designed to be age and developmentally appropriate, combining academic options with creative and physical activities. Our 14 acre Gold Coast campus, featuring top class athletic and play activities, offers great outdoor learning opportunities particularly during the four weeks that border summer vacation.

The LOV Program runs on the usual 9:00 AM to 3:15 PM schedule, though the EXTENDED DAY OPTION is available. Door–to–door transportation is provided and LUNCH is included for the entire 42 weeks for all students enrolled in the FIVE DAY STANDARD and LOV Programs.

LOV Curriculum

The curriculum is designed to expose our students to a wide range of new options, new activities and new possibilities. Our experienced team of teachers and specialists provide instruction, guidance and individualized attention, while encouraging participation. Weather dependent, activities are scheduled indoors and outdoors and are rotated throughout the seasons.

Core activities (in bold below) are offered throughout the LOV and Extended Day programs, along with a rotation of electives based on parent interest and other group–organized activities. Our ACTIVE KIDS programs offer a great opportunity to give children an edge in their introduction to physical activity, sports and good fitness. In addition, our ACTIVE KIDS program is designed to build self–confidence and self–esteem in a fun and nurturing environment. While focused on fine–tuning large motor skills and dexterity, balance and coordination, our athletic staff also actively promotes respect, teamwork, sportsmanship and responsibility throughout the entire program. Utilizing a professional curriculum and focusing on age–appropriate instruction, children learn the skills they need both on and off the playing fields. ACTIVE KIDS is designed to be an early building block for positive social interaction as well as good fitness.
