North Shore Day School Program

The small class size at North Shore Day School provides a supportive environment to all students. Our exceptional teacher-to-student ratio enables us to focus on the needs of each individual child within a carefully planned curriculum with clearly defined educational objectives.

Our limited class size permits flexibility to allow for attention to variations in developmental levels, as well as small group instruction. Children are taught that learning is fun but requires commitment to build the solid foundation they will need for educational excellence.

We provide a loving, caring environment where we encourage each child to develop healthy self-esteem and strong social skills with their peers. We form a “Partnership with Parents” to provide an excellent foundation for your child’s first school experience.

Toddler

For children turning two by December — they
can be in diapers — our program is based on socialization. Our youngest students are intensely curious about the world around them. Our toddler program includes:
•   Academics (letters, numbers, colors
    and shapes)
•   Art
•   Computers
•   Foreign languages (French and Spanish)
•   Discovery time and inside free play

Weather permitting, toddlers explore our spacious outdoor campus and play in our scaled down playground and athletic areas specially designed for their size.

Nursery

Our Nursery program is designed for
children turning three by December.
Our program teaches children to function
within a group setting and includes:
•   Academics (writing, letters and numbers)
•   Computers
•   Cooking
•   Music/movement
•   Foreign languages (French and Spanish)
•   Discovery time and free play
